With the new "Keep Connection Alive" feature (currently in Beta), this may work. The problem is that we can only update the notification while the connection to the server is established. But keeping the connection indefinitely is probably not a good idea, because that would drain the battery too quickly. :-) Therefore, the next version will have a "Keep Connection Alive" option where you can specify for how long we should stay connected to the server even if SC is not running (i.e. if SC is in background or if the phone's screen goes off). This was primarily intended to get a faster reaction time from standby mode, but it could also be used for your request. I'll see what I can do. -- flattermann Christian Home of 'SqueezeCommander' (http://www.squeezecommander.com) - The SqueezeBox Remote Control App for Android ------------------------------------------------------------------------ flattermann's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33169 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=69352 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
