Has anyone heard of the Raspberry Pi project?

It is a ARM GNU/Linux computer the size of a deck of playing cards with
a cost of $25. HDMI out, USB, Ethernet, can be powered off USB. This
sure would be an easy way to stash a dedicated Squeezebox server just
about anywhere.
