I'm a little embarrassed to even ask this, as I've been a SBS and NAS Duo user for a few years now. Without boring you with the details that led to this question let me just ask it:
I'm running a NAS Duo (Sparc). Do I install the iTunes software (10.5X) on the NAS directly in my Media Share or keep iTunes software on my laptop and my just music iTunes library for SBS on the NAS? I currently have iTunes and its music library installed on the NAS. I'm confused because my NAS DUO is a Sparc based operating system and this seems counterintuitive to iTunes needed operating system. Everything is working however, with the exception that I'm having stability problems now on iTunes and can't upgrade to the latest iTunes version as it hits errors during the upgrade. Some SBS upgrade ago, I think I must have been in a fog and moved iTunes directly from the laptop to the NAS. Lost in a circle. Appreciate any clarity.
