I really like ipengHD and squeezepad for the iPad and use them both.
They are excellent. 
I find 7.7.1 very fast on my 67,000 track library (mostly FLAC). I quit
using my readynas duo years ago. Too painfully slow scanning or browsing
except on small libraries.
