I received my blemished box controller yesterday - it had firmware that was so old I hardly recognised the interface (3+ yrs old?) and it took me ages to get it to accept a SW update and work properly (I already have 2 controllers so am aware of how awkward they can be). In the end (I think) I had to switch to mysqueezebox.com to get the job done - since then it has been fine. A good buy at 49ukp - almost tempted to get another, but it reminded me how frustrating this unit can be sometimes.
