That's what I'm trying to use but it just interacts with the regular
squeezeslave binaries. After further experimentation you are right -
XBMC was keeping hold of the audio but it was doing so a bit
sporadically. Turning of menu navigation sounds in XBMC fixed it.
I still get the following error when playing or even listing devices
however playback still works fine.
