This reminds me of friends in the 1990s saying, "computers are getting
cheaper and better every year so I'll wait to buy one later."  Taken to
the extreme, these friends would have reached 2012 never having owned a
computer. If your friend wants a high quality, inexpensive network
music player, he should get a TOUCH now. Heck, I have two extra TOUCH
players purchased on sale that I don't even use now stored as backups
should something break in my other units (and at that time in the
future, TOUCH players aren't available).

and besides, once you have a SB player, you are likely to figure out
that you need more. So if a touch2 comes out, it can be added to your
friend's system in some other use.  Heck,  I started out just wanting a
BOOM as a bedside internet radio. See my signature for SB stuff now....
