More info from Slacker... apparently Logitech has been lax in maintaining some of the various "apps" for all of the various supported streaming services, while they focused their efforts on migrating MySB to the Amazon cloud. Hence the issues experienced recently with both Slacker and Pandora, among others. Obviously with the service now in the cloud versus on Logitech's own servers, they can now return focus to their support of some of the various internet music services we love.
Also of interest, the Slacker person I chatted with has said that Logitech has been provided with Slacker's latest API - which can provide Premium-level on-demand features... so Logitech has the tools to add more features to their Slacker "app", it's just a question of whether they use them or not at this point.
