Hi I am considering to buy a pair of desktop speakers to replace the Tannoy in my signature.
After having praised the active Audioengine 5(+) for year, recently Steve Guttenberg has written a very positive review for the active Emotiva Pro airmotiv 4 http://news.cnet.com/8301-13645_3-57367525-47/emotivas-astonishing-desktop-speaker/ I could get them for about €380, but since I don't necessarily need active speakers I was wandering if I could get some better passive speakers.
