felix has an announcement script available at gwendesign (dot) com. It
doesn't mix audio, but interrupts. I use the same techniques in my
POP3 checker plugin. I haven't tried it in a while, and I expect that
the way that SlimServer 6+ now handles playback, it might have some
delay in playing depending on how the buffers are affected.
