So I recently just stood up a pfsense firewall. Have everything working as I would like however I have noticed a lot of blocked traffic coming from what I assume to be one of my squeezeboxes since it is broadcast traffic on port 3483.
What I am seeing is traffic blocked from: 169.254.45.202:3483 -> 255.255.255.255:2483 UDP What is odd is all my squeezeboxes appear online and working with an ip in the 192.168.10.xx range. The above indicates that something is using an adhoc self assigned ip. SB Devices 2x Touches 1x Controller 1x Receiver 1x Radio I am not sure how to figure out which device is doing this. My gut says it is the Controller/Receiver since I believe they go into an adhoc setup when you initially configure them. But once they get connected to my network they should not do that. FYI - the server sees them so they should be ok with IPs. Anyhow beside unplugging each device until the logs stop any other ideas on how to figure out who is the culprit? Already tried checking the ARP tables on the pfsense box. -- m1abrams ------------------------------------------------------------------------ m1abrams's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=850 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94297 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
