I think I need to do the reverse. My files are all located accurately in a directory structure. but tagged relatively inaccurately wrt anything else other than artist/album/track name.
If I can't easily select and play a CD based on hierarchal location. I need to somehow reflect the hierarchal location information into the metadata. I think the easiest way to do this will be to modify the Genre metadata to reflect the information that I currently get from the directory hierarchy and then switch to browsing by Genre. I was about to start searching for some way of doing this. Any pointers would be much appreciated.
