If I was looking to examine the bitrate of a bunch of files, I'd consider using a tool like mp3tag on my Windows box to sort/examine my entire library at once. If you're on a different platform, I'm sure there are similar tools. (Actually, I maintain my music library in JRiver Media Center as well as LMS; JRiver would make even quicker work of this task.)
