I also use Music Magic Mixer to generate playlists. But you are =absolutely= correct, Max. In v1.1.6 of MMM I can "disable" tracks, and whole genre's using filters... so tagging xmas music as "christmas" should work. I haven't tried the nifty genre exclusion feauture in Random Mix yet, but I'll give it a go. For me at least, this seems like a great solution.
