Sounds a bit like a UDP issue on the phone. Did you manually configure the server in Squeezer? If the Logi App doesn't work: there's plenty of other free and commercial Apps which are at least as capable (SqueezeCommander and OrangeSqueeze are quite popular) and have manual configuration.
