logitech LMS will never go away. We have that software and can install
it on our own machines forevermore.  Of course, if newer verisons of
windows or OS, etc. won't run the old LMS, that's a different issue.
Although one can always run an older server with an old version of win7
or Mac OS etc.  The real issue is if mysqueezebox.com goes away or
becomes unuseable because it doesn't keep up with changes in the
services.  For playing one's own local files, one doesn't need logitech
or mysb.com.
