For future ripping I sugests dBpower amp ( or a correctly configured EAC that don't give cue + one large file while ripping ).
What format are you ripping to,with WMP ? WAV mp3 wma ? WMP does not rip to FLAC and is not a secure ripper . And WMP's WAV rips do not have any file tags ,so for using with squeezeboxes they migth be cumbersome ( not showing up under artist or album and not be searchable ). Suppose if you are ripping to mp3 or wma you get proper tags .
