No I don't know of that option (you can remove it!)
I open the players pop-up and hit the discrete volume buttons for the
player I want (I only had 2 players with digital volume control, with
whit I can use the slider: 1 Boom, 1SB3) I think it's quite accessible,
either on iPad or iPhone.

I adjust volumes separately because one volume press up or down does not
have the same effect on each amp (differences in amps, in IR blaster
settings), and in general I want to keep the source in the room I am in
front, and have the other players in the other rooms in the background.
You can't get that with the group slider.
Also, when an IR blaster player is grouped with a digital attenuation
player, results are rarely what I want: on my amps w/ IR Blaster I
didn't get repeat presses to work, so the group will quickly unbalance.
Usually with the IR-blaster controlled amp reduced to a very low volume,
and the digital attenuation player at expected volume. And sometimes the
other way around (much worse!)
