Apart from the SBs in use (one SB 3, one SB Boom, one SB Radio and one SB Touch) I wont be buying any spare units. As much as I hate it, the Squeezebox product is dead since the manufacturer dropped it. If for some reason my Touch (the SB in the main listening area) would die premature then I still have the option of using iPeng as an SB replacement. I concither this route as my current backup plan if disaster happens in the short term.
In the longer run, I hope that there will be a valid alternative product available. Besides the fact that I still like my current SB lineup, I dont believe that investing in a dead product line is a sensible thing to do. Technology is moving very fast these days. Who knows what new technology / product will be available in the future. There is a good chance that there will be something new that would make the current SBs look and feel aged. And, Im still too pissed at Logitech to feed them anymore of my money. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pascal Hibon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7969 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96198
