No problem luga I knew what you meant. I'm not sure why you said you do the opposite of me, though. Sounds like what you do is what I want in my example #1. Both you and mattybain seem to be saying it used to work like that (album artist overrides artist) but it doesn't anymore? Is that it? Has anyone filed a bug report on it?
