I guess the Iphone or Android may be used for many things besides phone calls but that was really my point. While I enjoy using my computer for various tasks, my HTPC, and my Squeezebox I do not want to be tethered to this technology all my waking hours. Don't you need to get away from the onslaught of electronic communications at times ; I like to walk in the woods or the immediate neighbourhood and take in my suroundings. I don't think you can do that if you are focused on your IPhone. As I say guess this world is passing me by because people walking by my house seem to invariably be talking on their cell phones, texting someone or otherwise engaged in their electronic devices.
