Crowborough is well known for being a "Marilyn", defined as a high point with at least 500 feet (approx 150 m) of descent on all sides. There aren't many of them in East Sussex!
For maps on iOS, it's worth taking a look at the 'UK Map' app, which lets you download the freely released OS maps at 1:50k and 1:25k scales, as much as you can fit on your phone.
