This tidbit of knowledge was unfortunately omitted from the Squeezebox2 manual, but made it back into the new Squeezebox manual.

The ADD button inserts a space, the PLAY button deletes the character under the cursor.

Sorry for the conusion.

Well changing the router sure did the trick. I'm

Well, one problem. :-) It's minor, but when I
was not broadcasting SSID I encountered the same
issue I encountered yesterday:

When entering text, how do you get rid of trailing
spaces? When I went into SSID entry, 2 extra
characters were automatically added to my entry
for some reason. I could change them to spaces
using the "0" key on the remote, but I could not
delete them. Pressing the left arrow just backed
the cursor up, it did not delete the character.

Because the name wasn't right (2 trailing spaces)
I couldn't connect. Solved it by enabling SSID,
finding the network, then disabling SSID after I'd
already connected.

BTW the Linksys WRT54G firmware seems to work just
fine but it's nowhere near as capable when it
comes to security. I'm feeling adventurous, I'll
try out the Sveasoft firmware.
