I've recently realized that we barely maintain and update the wiki at wiki.slimdevices.com anymore. For me personally, one reason to not spend significant time to update information at wiki.slimdevices.com is that it's hosted by Logitech and I'm a bit afraid that one day sometime in the future they will just shut it down and all data would be lost. However, the problem this causes me is that I'm starting to have a hard time to find certain information because it's now spread in many different forum threads and it's not always that easy to find which one that's most accurate.
So, I've started to think that maybe it would be a good idea to maintain the wiki information somewhere where we as a community have control of it ourselves. I also think it would be a good idea to broaden scope of the wiki content a bit so we allow it to also contain information about other music streaming solutions than the squeezebox. So now over to my questions. 1. Are you interested to help maintaining the information on an active wiki related to music streaming solutions but initially focused at Squeezebox equipment ? 2. Would you even be willing to help paying for the hosting to ensure we can host it in a place where we get decent performance and where it won't suddenly be gone tomorrow ? (There are free wiki hosting providers, but I'm personally a bit worried that they won't be any better than letting Logitech continue hosting it) 3. Do you have any other thoughts about this ?
