Yeah, not liking it because it's Windows is perhaps a little flimsy (except I have noticed, with the few I've tried, that embedded Linux are vert stable; case in point: Linksys WRT54G routers). It comes down to favoring Linux for mission critical, especially server-ish, applications. But now, I do not want to start a religious war... :) My other point about Open Source, however, is one I feel strongly about. Yeah, if a device does all you ever want it to do and is totally bug-free, who cares if the source code is available. But the Audiotron does have bugs, and there are things that I can imagine changing. It would be cool, with a discontinued product, to be able to hack at the code.
