I will attempt building a VAMP today. I want to use with my Audioquest Dragonfly USB DAC. I am hoping it will work fine. This DAC has a volume control in the analog domain that is usually controlled by the Windows operating system. It acts exactly like the regular system volume.
With my netbook, I use Griffin's PowerMate as a physical volume control knob. For Linux, the PowerMate works with the Gizmo Deamon. My question is: would the Gizmo Daemon work with the VAMP? I'd love to be able to adjust the volume on the DAC within the VAMP.
