AN OPEN MESSAGE - WITHOUT PREJUDICE

I used to be a Logitech customer - I had the Squeezebox Touch for 24
months. I sold it as soon as I could, at a profit, thank you, when I
learnt about your change of product direction to UE.

What I find interesting is that there has been minimal if any connect
from HQ at CXO level with the Squeezebox (SB) user base worldwide,
articulating your plans for their future support, if any. 

It is ironic that on this forum, you have threads dedicated to existing
customers who are fervently attempting to re-invent the product you have
terminated. It's a little like customers of Dyson in the UK trying to
re-invent the vacuum cleaner.

Maybe they are misguided - the SB line pre UE was clearly not strategic
to Logitech fortunes, and presumably non profitable.

It would appear that the Squeezebox products pre UE are dead. As well as
existing customers wondering about the future of the investment they
have made in the SB line worldwide, I would question what potential new
customers might make of your company in the wake of this product line?

A definitive and coherent announcement would, I suggest, be the minimum
that your customers in Pre UE Squeezebox products worldwide deserve.
