Have been lurking on this thread for a while, reading every post ... although admittedly most of the technical discussion is over my head. It's very exciting stuff. I wish you all the best and will eagerly buy a Gen2 device or contribute to a Kickstarter when the time comes.
I apologize in advance if this takes the thread too far off topic, but does it strike anyone else as sad that Sean, Dean, and the rest of the Squeezebox crew aren't (or more likely -can't-) be a part of this development? It had to have been their passion for many years, and now they're all absent from it.
