It categorically does NOT happen like that.
I assume that what's happened is that this documentation was right once upon a time, but countless firmware upgrades have changed the truth of the situation since then. Under absolutely no circumstances do I ever get invited to "select ‘Set up Receiver’ " or anything of the sort.
