Would anybody be willing to perform this fix for me? - I'm willing to
pay, of course.  I just purchased a Classic on eBay and the left channel
(both speaker and headphone) don't work so I believe it is this same
issue.   The seller refunded my money and let me keep the device so I'm
way out ahead if I can get someone to get it running for me.   I'm in
the U.S. and I apologize if this is an improper request for this forum.
