Just following the development with lots of interest Can we ditch the toslink. If cost and size is no problem, Use bnc connector. Better for digital and if a user wants to use coaxial, passive bnc to RCA connectors are readily available.
Overtime, i think, USB and hdmi will be the main connectors for external DAC. Do provide lots of space around the jacks and USB.
