HDTracks.com and LinnRecords.com are known for their hi-res/studio master downloads (resolution/quality issues aside), but they also sell a lot of the albums as normal CD resolution (44.1/16) downloads. And, of course, their selection is limited.
If/when Amazon offers lossless downloads, it will be a game-changer I think. Until that happens, the bulk of music I buy is still on CD. Of course, I'm 60 years old and a bit anal about the quality of my music. I suspect that much of today's youth care little about lossy/lossless and likely don't actually buy a lot of music anyway. At least that seems to be true with my kids and their friends. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mdconnelly's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10312 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98363 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
