Hi Terry, I read the post over the wandboard forum and it seems that they miss wired two wires to the toslink connecter. I havent looked at the schematics yet myself and I didnt test the toslink interface yet but I can assume my board will have the same issue as yours. I have an electronics background and Im reasonably skilled with soldering so if it doesnt work Ill be able to correct it (even though the board uses smd devices). Ill report back here as soon as I have had the change to have a closer look at this.
