JayNYC my problem (and I believe it is the same for Ian) is that I have both mp3 and flac files. I want slimserver to pick the best file format for the player,eg flac for squuezebox2 and mp3 for other mp3 players eg slimp3. I don't really want to do transcoding as I can have up to 7 streams running at the same time.
