The only password the SB should usually need is your wifi password, and it seems odd that your ISP would dictate that. But anyway, I think your options are the following:
1) bite the bullet and change the password 2) borrow or buy another SB remote with all buttons functioning 3) use a JVC-compatible remote 4) use a wired ethernet connection. Note that for (3) to work, the SB must already be set to accept JVC remote commands. That could be a problem if you cannot adjust the setting because the SB3 hasn't been fully set up. In that case what you may be able to do is set up a wired connection to the SB3 temporarily, just so that you can change that setting in LMS for the JVC remote. And whichever solution you find for the password, get the dog some more appropriate chew toys! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99199 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
