I took a look into this. From what I can see with my limited knowledge, Synology has a control script at /var/packages/SqueezeCenter/scripts/start-stop-status. If you try to replace the package install files at /volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter with a new version (I tried both 7.7.3 and the latest 7.8 nighty) you get a whack of CPAN errors, a "unknown operand" error, and a "file exists" error.
It looks like the script is trying to create a symlink from /usr/syno/synoman/webman/3rdparty/SqueezeCenter pointing at a non-existent "ui" directory in the main SqueezeCenter install directory. Is that ui directory Synology-specific, or is it part of SqueezeCenter but somehow missing from the tgz? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ neilio's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8456 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99452 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
