Hi folks,

I've lurked on this board for some time, learned a lot, but never felt I
had much to contribute in the way of answering peoples' questions,
offering advice, etc.

I decided to go ahead & register so I could contribute to this thread
because I see an opportunity here to possibly have an impact.

I've been a home stereo enthusiast for almost my entire life, and have
spent a lot of years and (considerable, though not excessive) money
building my system to my satisfaction.

My squeezebox has been the single most significant component purchase
since I bought my first CD player in 1987. It grieves me to no end that
this incredibly robust, functional and versatile product was allowed to
whither and die from corporate neglect.

While it will always have a place in my cabinet for listening to my
music collection and internet radio, the ability to deliver on-demand
radio has made it even more indispensable. I've been using MOG for the
past year or so, and would very much like to continue.

More importantly, I fear that if Beats does decide ultimately to pass on
Squeezebox, it will be just another nail in the coffin. In another year
or so, Spotify or Rhapsody might change hands or change their API, SDK
or whatever, thus hastening the end of mySB.com.

So I have voted and commented on the suggestion page, as well as
e-mailed Beats customer service on the matter, as I know others have
done. I strongly encourage all MOG users to follow suit. I might even
suggest that users of other services speak up in the interests of
keeping Squeezebox and mySB.com relevant.
