Some of the Android DLNA apps do allow streaming of some on line stuff to a renderer device. Not sure how well they work though. Additionally there are apps that leverage DNLA streaming from Google music, not sure there's an equivalent for Spotify though.
Personally I use Airplay, which requires a rooted tablet and my main "Squeezebox" isn't a squeezebox but an O2 Joggler which runs Shairplay as well as Squeezeplay and Squeezelite. It works very well for the occasional use.
