Sorry that I didn't remember your first message anymore that you were using CD. The first message when booting from CD should be something like this: ISOLINUX 4.07 .... Loading /boot/fw...../kernel and after that you should get new screen with Daphile logo and option to give initial network configuration. If you really don't get anything (not even ISOLINUX text) on screen I would suspect that the CD burning has failed somehow. If you get ISOLINUX text but not Daphile logo, then it must be some kind of compatibility problem (kernel fails to boot). Which version are you using? i486 or x86_64? And what is your CPU, etc...?
