Hi, thank you for your kind offer. But I was asking for a new controller
firmware because I'm using the controller as a player (either with
headphones or some small active speakers).

This is possible by activating some beta feature. To my experience this
works well as long as the controller is not synchronized. When
synchronized with a real player, I noticed some timing problems
resulting in little regular clicks or cracks (interval depending on the
audio settings of the LMS). Probably that was the reason, why this
really cool feature always stayed in beta status. So the controller is a
nice stand-alone solution that allows you to listen to Napster (which
needs a hardware player and would not work on a Pi+Squeezelite).

While the duet receiver was not affected by the
Rhapsody-Logitech-Certificate problem, the controller used as a player
is. That's why I was asking for the update, because otherwise my
solution of the controller as Napster-client would end here. OK, I can
use the Napster App on my android, but I prefer using only the Logitech
system with features like SmartMix using local music and Napster.

BTW: I'm a long time squeeze commander user and I also have no problem
seeing one of my players when being connected to MSB.
