I don't like using my phone for music and use a Classic for listening. It has pretty good quality as long as you bypass the headphone jack and go line out through the doc connector. Sounds better than any phone I've tried and I don't use battery life on my phone. Plus no interruption. A Pono is on my list as a replacement.
