I have no problem doing an NFS mount of VB 2.3. The nfs-utils package is
part of the base install, and that's what you need to do NFS mounts.
Here's the /etc/fstab line which I use to mount /storage from my 9 TB
VortexBox Appliance (vortexbox2) onto my 2 TB VortexBox Appliance
(vortexbox1):

Works just fine.
