in over 3 weeks of using SB2. What changed from yesterday?  I presume
this has occured in the past and resolved itself?

I have seen them sometimes. What changed? Pretty often these are small stations, with only a few connections allowed. Everybody can easily set up a shoutcast radio station. I assume these smaller station change pretty often or are, due to only very few listeners, not in the 2000 most favorite streams. From time to time one such stream slips through.

BTW: it's the XML::Simple module which fails on these files. The plugin only catches the failure and displays the message you saw.
