Please try with one of the pre-releases that have ssh server and console
login prompt enabled (Alt-F2). These versions are available here:
http://www.daphile.com/tmp.P8SxQ0Qwy6/

Login to Daphile PC as root (password: zaq) and check the output from
following commands to see if you find any explanation:
logread
dmesg
cat /var/log/netmgr
