Yes, the 'now playing' window should work fine no matter what platform
the server's running. Moose uses the CLI (usually port 9090) to talk to
the server, so as long as that's not blocked it should be fine.

The only slight problem area is the 'library window' which
needs to access the actual files to populate its own database
for super-fast searching and track selection. Works ok with
network shortcuts, and people have got it working with linux
servers.

Anyhow, might be worth waiting a bit as I'm hoping to do a
new release later today.. The whole application's been
changed round somewhat and the newly re-designed 'now
playing' window is now the main focus rather than the
selection library. There's a shot of the new window here:

It's basically there - I'm just ironing out a couple of minor
redraw issues and want to test it on a few server builds before
popping it up. I'll post a message when it's done..
