If I understand correctly (do I?), this setting in LMS 'File Types' means that the conversion from FLAC to PCM is done by the SBT itself:
16872 Also, the SBT can (normally, with original firmware) play up to 96kHz. But if I play a 192kHz file, that also plays. In this case, is LMS now down-converting to 96kHz? And, is it now sending PCM to the SBT? Assuming I have understood correctly what's going on, then if I install the Extended Digital Out kernel, how can I see that the FLAC-PCM conversion is actually being done in the SBT, rather than LMS? And, is it possible to inhibit LMS from doing any conversion? +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: LMS_FileTypes.JPG | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=16872| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ Living room: SB Touch, with coax to: Marantz PM7005, TDL RTL3 speakers.
