I've run all the diagnostics on the Touch. Network health is excellent. All the "pings" report OK. The Server is running on my main machine with the External Drive. iTunes works perfectly on the machine and is selected on the check box. Today it rescanned and added a ton of music.
But the Touch still tells me to start the server, or plug in a USB or ethernet cord.
