Hi all. I've just registered here because I am running into a little problem with SqueezeCommander / SqueezeServer.
First of all, SC is still my favorite SqueezeBox controller. My current setup: dedicated server (running LMS 7.8, TVersity, StreamToMe, and some other stuff). As hardware clients I've got a SB3, a Duet, and a Raspberry (still a bit struggling with that one). I've also got an iPad running iPeng and two android phones running Squeeze Player / SqueezeCommander. (I even got a preconfigured VM with SqueezePlay and VPN software so I have access to my music from pretty much anywhere on any machine :-)) I run into the following problem: 1. I have Lame installed on the server. It seems to properly transcode. I use it to reduce bandwith to my Duet and when accessing my music through the VPN. 2. When, inside SqueezeCommander, I select the 'download' option the selected music will be transcoded and downloaded as long as the original is an MP3. 3. If the file is a FLAC file, it actually seems to transcode and download the file, but after that the LMS 'stops'. I've been trying pretty much anything I could think of, thus far to no avail. Again, the problem is probably not on the SC side, but I don't have anything else to test this with.
