So i decided to carry out the necessary steps to fix the BBC streams in the iPlayer plugin. In order to replace the menu.opml file I navigated to user/Library/Application Support/Squeezebox/Plugins ~ but the folder is empty!
It's not where plugins are being installed. Check the other paths listed in Settings/Information. Pick the one in Library/Caches/Squeezebox.
