The claim that an SSD allows for very fast scanning is highly debatable. LMS and its database are gonna fit into RAM on many setups. As RAM is faster than an SSD, the SSD hardly matters. And music collections are usually not on an SSD, so again the presence of an SSD doesn't make a difference.
